When will I receive the access to the platform?

We will send you a welcome email with the log in credentials one week before the Conference start dates.

How do I log in?

You can log in using your UFI Asia-Pacific Conference event credentials (Email and Registration ID). Your credentials details can be found in your welcome email.

If you do not find your welcome email, please contact us at events@ufi.org and we will resend it.

What is Matchmaking?

The conference digital platform uses natural language processing, advanced algorithms and deep neural networks to constantly learn about your professional goals and interests. Grip takes the work out of networking through intelligent matchmaking – making it more fun and giving you a higher return on your time.

What are the benefits?

The matchmaking platform allows you to network with other participants and sponsors, arrange meetings and identify potential business contacts.

How do I find networking opportunities?

The platform uses natural language processing and advanced algorithms to recommend networking opportunities. Alternatively, you can search for participants/sponsors directly or use the filters to find the right profile you’re looking to meet.

For the Asia-Pacific conference, you will get the opportunity to use 2 new features – Speed Networking and Instant Calls.

Speed Networking is a quick way to meet people that have similar interests and goals as you. We’ll find someone to meet with you for a 3-minute meeting.

Instant Calls will enable you to organize a video call with your connections at any time during the event

How do I request a 1-2-1 meeting?

First, find the person you’d like to meet and click on their name to view their profile page, you’ll be able to mark them as ‘interested’ or send a meeting request directly.

Where will my 1-2-1 meetings take place?

Virtual meetings rooms will be provided as a location for your meetings during the event. All meetings can be hosted directly on the event platform.

Can I add 1-2-1 meetings to my calendar?

When a meeting request is accepted it will send a calendar invite to your email address.

What details of mine are displayed in the platform?

The platform will display your professional information including name, job title and company. Information such as telephone number, email address or mail address will not be displayed, unless you wish to do so. You will be able to update this setting on your profile directly on the platform. Users contact details are not displayed or exportable in the platform.
