With the successful implementation of key infrastructural projects such as the high-speed intercity railway, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Lotus Port, and Qingmao Border, alongside the promulgation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Master Plan of the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Macao is now presented with favorable conditions to host an increased number of large-scale international conventions. This, in turn, brings forth a multitude of new development opportunities for the MICE industry.
Dr. Wilfred Wong, executive vice chairman of Sands China Ltd., will delve into the challenges and opportunities that arise from the development of the MICE industry, particularly within the Greater Bay Area.
