Running business events can consume large number of resources and generate tonnes of waste – with linear economy as the culprit. The phenomena go against the ideals of low-carbon and sustainable future that many businesses have committed to supporting. The Partnership for Sustainability Leadership in Business project team at The University of Hong Kong seeks to challenge this status quo from the perspective of value chain-based collaboration through its upcoming Practical Guidebook, knowledge exchange events and stakeholder engagement. Kelvin will share the preliminary results of the initiative and how our industry can get involved.
